Pure magnesium is used as an alloying metal to increase the strength of both wrought aluminum alloys and cast aluminum alloys. In the production of master alloys for the treatment of nodular cast iron, pure magnesium is added, inter alia. In the chemical industry, magnesium is used in the production of Grignard reagents as well as in the inorganic field. As an excellent reducing agent, magnesium is also frequently used in metallurgy.
The delivery spectrum for magnesium ranges between 99.70 and 99.98% purity and thus enables a cost-optimized selection for the wide range of applications mentioned above.
End pieces are the remnants of pure Mg ingots from powder production and have the same chemical composition as pure Mg ingots. Due to their geometry, end pieces melt more easily and thus enable quick corrections when setting predefined final analyzes.
